McGill Manufacturing finished a 34 Coupe in December 2009 for John Delaughter. John builds chassis for race cars so he knows quality when he sees it. In October he made a trip to Missouri to check on the progress and assist in the drivetrain installation. The weather was better then, but even the clouds and snow can't take the shine off his finished streetrod.
*Once back in the warmer climes of AZ, John took some nice photos of his new ride that really show off the custom color Dark Cloisonne Pearl Metallic paint he developed for the car.
John recently sold his blue 34 coupe from Mcgill Manufacturing to Fred Wilmar in Sante Fe, NM.

John and Mary Delaughter joined 3 other couples for a little street rodding road trip in 2010. The Delaughters drove their 1934 Ford 3 window coupe built by McGill Manufacturing across the Southern part of Mojave Desert. It was 1,200 miles round trip, started at Phoenix,AZ and went to Baja,CA- Mexico and back in temperature of 120 degrees. Now that's HOT RODDING! |

John also picked up a 1st place trophy with his 1934 Ford and trailer painted to match at a Phoenix,AZ car show. His car & trailer was selected out of 150 cars by Harbor Freight, one of the 3 major event sponsors. Cool running & good looking... |
